Mr. Zippy was created by JoAnn Mason, mother, grandmother, and lover of all life, human or otherwise. Mr. Zippy is based on a real life squirrel that JoAnn saved when she realized he was in danger, bringing the community together to save a squirrel. She spends her days watching for his visits, as he comes back often to say hi.
